I went back to The Art of War – The 13 Chapters by Sun Tzu, that timeless classic that crosses generations and never gets old.
Even though it was written in an ancient Chinese military context, its lessons still apply today, whether in personal life, business, or team leadership.

The text is concise and direct, with each chapter reading like a collection of aphorisms. Short phrases, but loaded with meaning. As you read, you realize it’s not just about winning battles, but about thinking strategically, anticipating moves, and often winning without fighting at all.

What struck me most is the emphasis on knowing yourself and your enemy. This notion of clarity, preparation, and adaptability is universal. Just as the idea that victory doesn’t come from improvisation, but from discipline and careful planning.

It’s not a book you read only once. You can revisit it in different stages of life and always find something new, because every phrase leaves room for reflection.
Short and to the point, but with deep impact. More than just a read, it serves as a reference for decision-making in any field.
