Work

At work, I’m focused on leadership and structuring. Most of my time is spent on strategic decisions, people, pre-sales, and organizing teams related to mobile, digital experiences, and applied technology.

I’ve been increasingly interested in how to sustain good teams without inflating processes, how to maintain clarity in complex environments, and how to use AI in a practical way, less hype and more real delivery.

Writing and thinking

Writing continues to be a tool for thinking. This site is where I organize ideas about technology, career, leadership, and life in general.

I don’t write on a fixed schedule and don’t follow a calendar. I write when I really feel like it and when I feel something deserves to be shared. The internet is a huge world and very useful for helping people with the same interests.

Outside the blog, I continue writing in my Obsidian, it helps me have a better understanding of what I’m thinking about. I’ve shared how I organize my thoughts and notes with Obsidian.

Body and routine

Running continues to be an important axis of my routine. I train consistently, less concerned with performance and more with consistency, health, and having my head in the right place. The gym comes as support, not as an end in itself. The gym is my great ally in running, the strengthening it provides is necessary.

The focus continues to be longevity, not intensity. I’ve written about books that inspired me on this journey: Running, by Drauzio Varella and What I Talk About When I Talk About Running, by Murakami.

Reading

Reading remains present, alternating between fiction, human behavior, philosophy, and strategy. I’ve been avoiding overly technical books when I feel my head is already full.

Currently reading It’s All River: A Novel by Carla Madeira. I’m really enjoying fiction books and yes, novels. I shared the books I read in 2025 with highlights of my favorites.

Watching

I recently finished watching Pluribus, I really liked it. I’m now continuing with The Pitt, we have a second season.

Home and personal projects

I’ve been spending time tinkering with home automation, Home Assistant, and small adjustments to my homelab. It’s more of a nerdy pleasure I have, most of the time it’s not even for efficiency or real automation, but rather for curiosity, challenge, or just a hobby.

I like to understand how things work and to reduce dependencies when it makes sense. I’ve written about my residential rack, Home Assistant OS installation, and integrating Home Assistant with Alexa.

Chess

At the moment I’m writing this, I’m on vacation and there’s an international chess tournament happening in my city. I really wanted to have signed up but I didn’t prepare for it.

Anyway, Chess continues as part of my daily routine, now on vacation, a bit more intense. :-)

Courses and learning

Languages continue as a continuous curiosity, I’ve been taking English classes practically every day, but without pressure. I’m also interested in Mandarin, this semester looks promising. I’ve also been taking AI and Game Development courses.

They help me in my work, but I also confess they’re good hobbies.
